Four blue backed cards of like value but different suits are shown and counted individually into the palm of the left hand. The four cards are squared and one card turns over in the packet. This is repeated twice with two other cards mysteriously turning over in the packet. After the third card turns over in the packet, it is removed and placed in the performer's pocket only to mysteriously return to the packet.
The audience is asked to name the color of the back of the cards. They will say "blue!" The performer counts the cards into the spectator's hands showing the backs have "blushed" and turned RED! ALL MAY NOW BE EXAMINED!
