A spectator freely selects a card and places it back in the middle of the deck. The Magician says that his fingers are so well trained that he will cut the cards exactly where the selected card is. He tries twice but fails. Finally the Magician says: "I know what's wrong! You just happened to select the only communist (Red) card in the whole deck. She is always complaining and right now it's probably on strike."
The Magician spreads the cards face down, all of them are blue back but one card is not only red in the back, it also has a sign that reads "ON STRIKE". On showing its face it proves to be the selected card. The Magician now shows all the backs of the rest of the cards to be blue. After commanding the selected card to go back to work or else, the selected card is turned face down and the red back and the "on strike" sign have disappeared! Its back is blue again, like the rest of the deck! Spectators can freely examine the card and the deck. It can be repeated immediately, if so desired!

This brand new effect is a true beauty. You show three blocks which make up the full picture of a clown. You also show a wooden tube and a wooden base for the blocks to be placed upon. All are beautifully silk-screened in bright visible colors. You place the tube on top of the base and then proceed to place the clown blocks in. First the legs, then the middle, and finally the head. However, when you lift the tube the clown is all mixed up and is standing on his head! This can be repeated as many times as you wish. Finally, you take the clown's head away to eliminate the problem, but it mysteriously vanishes. When you once again remove the tube the clown's head had reappeared atop his shoulders.
