In this effect by Peter Kane the Performer demonstrates the new banking marvel known as Cash Cards ...a plastic credit card with a microchip imbedded inside to send messages to your bank to withdraw an amount of currency from your account and send it to you ... or send it to any store from which you have made a purchase.
The use of the Cash Cards is demonstrated and on the first three examples a one dollar bill (or banknote, for our British readers) is produced, removed and the bill placed on your shirt or jacket where it adheres. On the fourth try a ten dollar bill appears! But, alas, when the Performer tries to push his luck the card produces no bill at all; instead, the state of his bank account is printed on the card: OVERDRAWN!
