This effect is straight-forward and powerful. A most unusual routine! In this effect by Aldo Colombini a card is selected from a deck of cards, say it is the 5 of Spades. A packet of three Jokers is introduced. The 5S is placed among the Jokers whereupon it instantly turns face down. It is replaced and turns face up. You then draw an X on the back of the 5S which is placed face down in the packet. The cards are counted and now the 5S is face up with an X on its face. The X visibly disappears off the face of the 5S and now all the Jokers have an X on their faces!

This is a ‘take-off’ on the “Snake and the Basket” by Aldo Colombini. Two cards are selected from a deck of cards (say 5H and 3H). You show two jumbo cards on both sides, one has a picture of a basket and the other a picture of a snake. You place the cards together and an 8H appears between the cards. Why the 8H? The snake is an ADDER! Got it? Everything can be examined.
You get two handlings and the extra jumbo cards in full color (use your own deck).

INFLUENCE U 2 (USA, CANADA ONLY)
An anytime - anywhere - any card miracle! Spread a shuffled deck face up on the table by Larry Becker and Lee Earl. Someone thinks of a random playing card - value, color, and suit - and writes those thoughts on the back of a business card you hand him (for example he writes 7, black, Spades). You square the deck and leave it face down on the table.
Next, he is asked to dial the toll-free number printed on the card (any phone can be used) to connect with a friend - a corporate executive, who moonlights as a numerologist.
When he reaches her voicemail (she always seems to be out of the office) after the standard "Leave your name and number," she adds, "The destiny card and lucky number for today are: the 7 of Spades and 35!"
That's when you ask your participant to deal down to the 35th card - it's the 7 of Spades!

As magicians, whether we've practiced for 10 months or 10 years, we've all "found" a spectator's card. We've all made a card flip upside down in a deck. We've all made a signed-card rise to the top of the deck. We've all done a triumph routine. But that's where it stops.
We have NOT all made a mixed deck correct itself while the ENTIRE DECK (every single back in the deck including the spectator's card) changes... Every card, all 52, in the entire deck changes in a flash of fire within a split second giving a moment of startling, visual, in your face magic. This is X-Marks the Spot by Justin Miller.
You, in a pseudo demonstration on how magicians use marked cards take your audience through a deck of red cards to see if they can find the marks themselves. Unfortunately, they are not able to see a thing, and believe at this point that you are pulling their leg. So, to prove they really are marked, a card is selected and signed on its face and lost in the deck. One half of the deck is turned face up and shuffled into the face down half. The cards are spread to show the mess. You ask one more time if they can see the marks on the back. Once again, the answer is no. Accusing the lighting conditions on this sight problem, you pull out a lighter and a piece of paper with a big black X drawn on it. Suddenly the paper is ignited (accidentally) and in an explosion of fire the paper is tossed at the deck and INSTANTANEOUSLY a black appear on the back of the deck. Also, all of the cards are face down and ALL THE CARDS HAVE A BIG X ON THE BACK OF EACH CARD except for on that is face-up in the spread...you guessed it, the selected signed card. As if that were not enough, you explain that you were not really looking for those marks but the one on the back of the selected card. As you turn the card over, its found to have a BLUE BACK.
