CARD MAGIC
In this effect by David Regal a deck of cards is shown and a spectator freely cuts the deck into four piles. The other cards are shown, so the spectator can see that they could have easily cut to any random cards. When the spectator turns over the four cards they cut to, they discover the four aces!

In this effect by Andrew Normansell three cards are freely selected (no force), signed and returned to the deck. The Magician now shows a Bicycle Joker and states that it has been specially trained to do the Magic. The Joker is placed in the Magician’s back pocket and with a Magical gesture, reappears face-up in the face down deck, right next to the first selection.
The Joker is then placed back in the Magician's pocket for a second time and the deck is spread to show that there are no face-up cards. Then once again, the Joker reappears face up in the facedown deck, right next to selection number two.
The Joker is removed for a final time, but this time, fails to reappear in the deck... the Magician reaches into his pocket and brings out the Joker, only to find that the reason he did not return is because he has fallen off his bike! The Magician makes a final Magical gesture and with an empty hand, reaches into his pocket and removes the final signed selection!

One or more spectators are invited to participate in ‘Project-X’. He remembers any card he sees in the deck. Let’s say the Four of Spades. The spectator himself now deals through the deck to find what where the card is located. Except, of course, the card isn’t there! All he finds are the fifty-one other cards. No duplicates! Nothing added or taken away!
The performer now removes a prediction from an envelope that has been in view the whole time - it states, “Somehow you thought of the Four of Spades - the only card that wasn’t there!!” The spectator is speechless. “Want to know why it’s called ‘Project-X’?” asks the performer. The spectator nods. The performer hands the envelope to the spectator. Inside is a single playing card with a big, black ‘X’ on its back. It is the Four of Spades!

This is a Commercial, Easy to Perform and Eye-Popping Effect by Peter Nardi. A deck of cards is spread face-up, then face-down to show normal cards. The Joker is removed and placed onto the table. A spectator makes a completely free selection and signs their name across the card's face, then cuts her card into the deck several times, ensuring her selection is lost.
The performer retrieves the deck and holds the Joker above the cards. He gives the Joker a little flick and instantly, the printed joker riding his bicycle vanishes from the face of the card, with just the surrounding detail and the word Joker left on the card! This incomplete card is tossed onto the table and examined by the spectator. The performer openly deals down several cards from the top of the deck, showing the joker is gone.
The magician spreads the deck face-down and one card is found to have the missing joker on his bicycle printed on the back! When this card is turned over, it's the spectator's signed selection! Again the spectator examines the card and verifies the joker really is printed on the card.
The performer then retrieves her selection, gives it another flick and the joker vanishes again-this time it's nowhere to be found! The deck is handed out for examination and the signed card may be kept as a souvenir.
