CARD MAGIC
The perfect addition to any card magic routine! In this effect by Anton Corradin, nearing the end of his card routine, the Magician leaves the empty card case on the table for everyone to see. He then spots someone in the audience wearing a ring and asks if he can borrow the ring. The ring is placed in the Magician's right hand. The Magician then explains that with a little bit of magic the ring will travel from his hand to the closed empty card case lying on the table. He then picks up the card case from the table and opens his hand to reveal that the ring has disappeared. At the same time, he looks at the card case in his hand and gives it a little shake.
To the audience's amazement, the sound of the ring moving around in the card case can be heard by all! The Magician opens the card case and turns it upside down, allowing the ring to fall into his hand. He presents the ring to the audience and shows that the card case is completely empty! In this effect by Henry Evans and Malakatin the Magician shuffles a deck of cards and asks the spectator to pick a card. He shuffles the deck some more and asks the spectator to pick a second card. The spectator signs both cards. The Magician then cuts the deck and has the spectator place the two signed cards inside of the deck. The Magician shuffles the deck once again.
The spectator is given a bag and asked to hold it open. The Magician starts dropping groups of cards from the deck into the bag. Once the entire deck has been placed in the bag, the spectator closes the bag and shakes it around, shuffling the cards even more.
The Magician asks someone to blindfold him and make sure that he cannot see beyond the blindfold. He then reaches into the bag and miraculously finds the two signed cards instantly. He removes the cards from the bag and shows them to the spectators, explaining that he was able to locate the signed cards so quickly due to his extra keen sense of touch!

In this effect by Ted Biet three cards are chosen and returned to the deck. The magician holds the pack at his fingertips and asks for the name of the first card. It slowly rises out of the center of the pack. The cards are now shuffled and fanned. The magician asks for the name of the second card. It rises slowly from the center of the fan (this looks really unbelievable!). Finally, the pack is placed into the card case and given to a spectator to hold. The third card is announced and the spectator is told to "tickle" the deck just a bit. He does so and, amazingly, the third card rises from the cased deck!
This is the only original Ted Biet's card riser, the best ever created. No threads, no weight no magnets, the gimmick can be introduced into and stolen from a borrowed deck with utter ease, if desired. This device is never even suspected, much less seen. This effect by John-Webb Carter is very powerful for spectators to experience. It's their borrowed and signed coin! It's their selected and signed card! It happens right in front of their eyes!
On the table is a deck of cards, a coin, a pen and a knife. The magician asks one of his spectators to select one of the cards and to sign its face. The card is then replaced back into the deck which is then shuffled and put onto the table. Now the magician picks up the coin and allows the spectator to sign it, while he explains that he will not find the card but the coin will. He picks up the deck and taps the coin on top of the deck. It’s gone! The magician goes through the deck and finds the card, however there is no sign of the coin whatsoever. That is, until the magician picks up the knife and slices across the front of the card which reveals the coin in between the three layers of card and yes - it’s the signed coin! Finally the card is torn in half to prove that there are no extra coins.

Are duplicate cards or coins involved?
NO. You only use the card the spectator selects and signs. You can even borrow a coin from the spectator to do this effect!
Can the coin and card can be kept as a souvenir?
YES! We recommend it! When a spectator takes the card out of their wallet or purse and describes to their friends how the signed coin was actually buried INSIDE the signed card, it's a great advert for your services and magic!
Do I need to switch in gimmicked props?
NO! You really use the card and coin they signed!
Is the coin really inside the card or is it just an optical illusion?
It's really inside and is cut out with a pocket knife or the card ripped open to release it. They can feel the coin in the card before it is cut open!
Is C2C repeatable?
Yes! You destroy one playing card each time you perform this effect but that is the only additional expense to perform this killer effect. You can use any standard deck of playing cards for this effect, although we recommend Bicycle Playing Cards also sold here.
