CARD MAGIC
This is one of the most magical transformations of a playing card that you will ever see!
In this effect the magician takes a playing card (the Ace of Spades for example) and lays it on the table or floor. He then places a large glass over the Ace and covers both with a silk. The glass and silk are slid back a little to show that the card is still the Ace of Spades and nothing has changed. Covering the card again, all the performer must do is wait about 20 seconds and the playing card will change its value without any trickery or sleight of hand on his part! After 20 seconds, the magician removes the glass and silk to reveal that the Ace of Spades has magically changed into the Jack of Hearts!

"The Professor's Nightmare" is one of the most popular rope tricks of all time, and with good reason. Here is an offbeat version by Shigeo Futagawa that uses pictures of ropes printed on the cards. It packs very small, but plays very big!
The magician displays three cards with drawings that, when placed together, form a picture of three ropes of different lengths. The cards are gathered. A magical gesture is made and the cards are re-dealt. Now, the three ropes are of equal length! But that's not all; the process is repeated, and this time when the cards are dealt out the pictorial ropes have joined together into a single line!

A "Wild Card" effect by Nick Trost with six cards! You show five blank-faced cards and one Four of Spades. The Four is brushed against two of the blank cards and they change to Fours! This is repeated with the other blank cards and at the finish, all six cards have changed to the Four of Spades-a Four Flush! No double-faced cards are used, yet spectators seem to see the face and back of every card!

In this effect by Ton Onosaka five bike-riding jokers are displayed, backs and fronts. One joker-the leader-is put aside, facedown. One by one, the remaining jokers turn over. When the faces of the cards are displayed, they are seem to bear only abandoned bicycles. Where are the missing jokers? They're found on the face of the leader card, where they've joined together in an acrobatic cycling demonstration!
