CLOWNS AND JESTERS DECK OF CARDS (CAJ)
The Clowns and Jesters deck (CAJ deck) comes complete with the
gaff deck, and the companion instructional booklet containing several CAJ deck
routines.
The CAJ deck is designed to be added to any normal deck of cards. They are red
backed bicycle cards, which are commonly available.
Each routine is explained in common language, and leaves out any confusing magic jargon so both the advanced and beginning magician can perform these great effects!

In this effect by Aldo Colombini three packets of cards are introduced. Three spectators each select a card from the packets, and these cards are seen to be the only cards with Different Colored Backs.

In this effect by Simon Taylor a selected card is folded into quarters and wrapped in tissue paper - this is then set on fire. When the flames clear, the chosen card has vanished only to reappear in an unopened packet of crisps held by a spectator the whole time!

In this effect by Eduardo Kozuch, the performer presents a jumbo poker card on a plastic frame with its back to the audience. He then asks a spectator to pick a card from an ordinary poker deck and place it face down against the jumbo card. The performer than flips the frame and cards around revealing the jumbo cards face (his prediction). He then shakes the spectator's card free of the frame and lo and behold! it matches the jumbo prediction!

In the effect by Brent Arthur and James Genz a card is chosen, then lost in the deck. The spectator uses X-Ray Vision to find it by ACTUALLY see through the cards. The card is seen to be a reversed x-ray version of the chosen card, but just for a MOMENT... and then it vanishes. The card is examinable at the end!
