TARGET PRACTICE by JAY SANKEY

When Jay Sankey first performed this effect, he totally amazed his audiences! It's a wonderfully clever effect, that delivers a real twist on a classic plot.

You display a group of cards each with a target printed on its face. There is also a hole going through each card. Unfortunately, your aim was way off and the holes are nowhere near the target. With one exception...one card has a perfect bulls-eye! With a magical flair, you begin to move each hole so that it is now located right in the center of the target! You repeat the process with each and every card, until all the holes are all perfect bulls-eyes! Who needs target practice, when you are a magician?!

Jay Sankey's TARGET PRACTICE is a visually striking effect to behold...and perform! Comes with photo illustrated instructions, specially printed and die cut cards on Bicycle card stock, and a carrying wallet.

EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHS by DAVE MILLER

The magician pulls out a packet of cards and starts the story. "When I was a kid my favorite story was "The Emperor's New Clothes. Are you familiar with It? In the story there are two thieves and a king."

The cards are fanned open to show two blank cards with a King of Hearts between them. "I have three cards, a King of Hearts, which represents the emperor and two blank cards, which represent the thieves."

The fan is turned over to show that the blank cards have blue backs and the King has a red back. "You can also tell the King apart from the others by looking at the backs, because the King has a red back."

The fan is turned back over. "The Emperor really liked his clothes, he had a new outfit for every hour of the day. One day the thieves decided to hustle the Emperor, so the thieves went to the Emperor and told him that they were great tailors and that they could make him some clothes that only a fool could not see! The Emperor thought this was great and told the thieves to go to work."

The magician counts all three cards and turns them face down. "The two thieves dressed the Emperor and told him how wonderful he looked, then got out of the palace as quickly as possible."

A spectator is asked to pull the King out and put it face down on the table. The magician then shows the front of the thieves to still be blank and puts them in his pocket. "The Emperor was so proud of his new clothes that he wanted everyone to see them. Would you like to see his clothes?" Turn over the king. "But remember only a fool cannot see the clothes."

The spectator turns over the card to find a hilarious naked King.

CARD DICE

Contrary to general logic and even though they were originally put together completely at random, you are able on two occasions to magically reassemble cubes to form the face of a card. After covering the cubes with a silk, they order themselves to show the face of a previously chosen card from an ordinary pack.

The second time you do it, the silk is removed before the spectator has revealed his card. Everyone is convinced that the card he is holding cannot be the same as that shown on the cubes. In actual fact, the cubes now show six playing card "Sixths" in a complete muddle. And even so, a miracle occurs in that the spectator's card shows a representation of exactly that (muddled) order.

Included are: Six wooden cubes or dice. A segment of playing card is glued to each face. It looks as if the pieces of card are glued in a completely random order. Depending on the size ordered, the cubes, when placed together, will either make up a standard or jumbo-sized card.

If you purchase the standard version, you will also receive two cards showing six card sixths in a completely random order. You will only require one of these, the other being a reserve card. (one has a red back, the other blue). You will need to use a Bicycle pack of cards with the same backs as the special card you are going to use.

If you have purchased the jumbo card version, you will have received two blank (Piatnik) cards corresponding to this size. Also included are two versions of the "special" card which you must glue onto blank Piatnik cards. One has a red back and the other a blue back.

Both versions come with a wooden carrying case.
