The Zippered Wallet is a classic of magic. The item originated in the USA as a 'card in the wallet.' HARRY STANLEY'S UNIQUE MAGIC STUDIO marketed this and soon added a new routine and dimension to the effect by having a Treasury Note appear inside. Supreme marketed their own version combining an idea by GRANT ('Coin Stitch') with the wallet, so that the vanished Treasury Note was found to be inside the zippered wallet, actually stapled between two pieces of cardboard! The only way of getting the note out was to cut the card open! The item has made a reputation for many a magician.

The effect is simple. At anytime in the magician's act he removes a pack
of cards from a small wooden box. A card is selected and the spectator shuffles
it back into the pack. The magician places the shuffled deck into the box and
closes the lid. He says a few magic words and opens the lid. Suddenly the cards
come flying out of the box in a giant stream until all of the cards are out
except there is one card left standing straight up in the box, it is the
spectator's selected card.

The Clip It item is familiar to most magicians. it comprises of five cards printed in a row printed on a board. Four of the cards are of the same color (say red) and the center card is an odd color (say black). The row of cards is tamed over, to display the backs, and a spectator asked to place a paper clip over the odd (middle) card. However, when the board is turned around to show the faces, the clip is found over one of the four similar colored cards.
The effect works due to an optical illusion. Although the spectators believe they are placing the clip over the center odd colored card, it appears on one of the four similar colored cards when the board is turned to display the faces of the cards. Clip it Plus combines this novelty with a magic effect, for an additional surprise ending where the cards all change color.
