CARD MAGIC
PICK-UP-SIX by JERRY SOMERDIN

The full faces and backs of six playing cards are shown. The cards used are the Ace through Six. Each card has a bold number on its back that corresponds to the value of the card. On the back of the Ace is a "1", on the back of the TWO is a "'2", etc. The magician explains that when the "6" is rotated 180 degrees, it looks like a "9". He rotates the card to illustrate this and the "6" now looks like a "9". When this card is turned face up, it has magically become a Nine. The card is handed out for examination. Finally the card magically becomes a "6" again. Comes in poker-size Bicycle.

PLAYMATES (A TRIPLE STUNNER) by JERRY SOMERDIN
SOLD TO ADULTS ONLY

A packet of four face-up cards is shown one at a time (for example, the four Kings). One at a time each King magically turns face down and then face up, and finally all the Kings are face up again. The spectator is then asked the color of the backs of the cards. The answer is "blue" because this is what the spectator saw, but when the back of each card is shown again, the color has changed to red.
The spectator again is asked to recall the color of the backs. By now the spectator is completely bewildered. The magician states, "Every King has his Queen -- these are my Queens". The cards are displayed individually again. On the back of each card is a different, colorful picture of Hugh Hefner's nude playmates in full color -- in discrete pose, Detailed instructions including three routines.
(1) A routine requires just a simple counting procedure.
(2) A routine requiring a fully explained simple sleight -- much easier than an Elmsley Count.
(3) For the purist, there is a routine requiring no sleights, where the effect begins by removing the four Kings from a deck and, at the conclusion, they are given out for examination. Ideas are included for patter. There are suggestions for using this same effect with other card5 at trade shows, children's parties, etc. Comes in poker-size- Bicycle cards.

HOLEY MOLEY by JERRY SOMERDIN

Holey Moley! That's what you'll say when you see Jerry's new affect. This is so well made that you will have to read the instructions to locate the gimmick. A playing card has a hole punched in one of its corners. A stick, straw or match etc. may be pushed through the hole by a spectator to prove it is a real hole. Yes, it is a real hole! The hole then moves mysteriously to the opposite corner. It looks absolutely weird and unbelievable! Again show that the hole is genuine (it really is). The entire face and back of the card is fully displayed to show there is only one hole. No sleights! You will do it five minutes after purchasing it!
For those who think they are in the know - there are no slides and no dental dam used in this one Four routines are included. There are many other possibilities with this special card. Like all of Jerry's gimmicked cards and effects, this card is crafted meticulously by Jerry himself! COMES IN POKER-SIZE BICYCLE CARDS.
ITEM # G 120B PRICE $10.00

Edward Bagshawe is credited with the popular Out To Lunch principle, on which this trick is based. In effect, performer displays a packet of cards banded together, with the picture of a Genii on them. A spectator signs one of these cards on the face and the back. It is kept face down on the table, and the spectator selects a card from a pack of ordinary playing cards. When the signed card is now turned over, the Genii is seen to be holding a miniature of the selected card.
The outfit supplied will enable you to use this with props other than playing cards. The Genii could reveal a selected ESP card, or a selected name, number, design, color etc. You could also use the same cards for other tricks, (not using the "Out To Lunch principle"), as suggested in the instructions.
The outfit supplied by us comprises of the following:
1. A number of cards with the picture of a Genii (with his hands folded).
2. Several cards with a Genii holding a "card". There are pictures of the Genii holding various playing cards, one with an ESP star symbol, and some with the Genii holding a blank card. The blank cards allow you to draw in any design, name, number etc. as you wish.
3. A "gimmick card" with the Genii having folded hands.
4. A special ribbon "band" that helps make this effect possible.
The cards are specialty laminated, so ordinary writing with a marker will rub off easily and the card can be used over and over.
ITEM # T O52D PRICE $5.00

This
is a novel rising card effect. Performer displays an ordinary deck of cards,
which can be examined and shuffled. A card is freely selected from the deck, and
may be signed if you wish.
Performer
now explains that the normal rising card routine involves placing the deck in a
glass tumbler, and commanding the selected card to rise. The magi explains that
unfortunately, glass tumblers are extremely fragile and break all the time. To
correct this a picture of an empty glass tumbler on a giant playing card is
shown.
