CARD MAGIC
BENDING CARD by GUY BAVLI
You show a pack of cards to the audience and ask one of the spectators to select a card he wants and sign it. You put the signed card face up on the deck. You then turn the card and take it with your fingertips. Now, the signed card, which you hold, starts to bend very slowly. Under your control it stops, or continues to bend slowly or quickly. It all depends on you! You do not move your fingers or hands.
When the signed card straightens up, you turn it and give it out for examination. At that point you can go on doing card tricks with the same pack.

Two cards are shown, let's say the red seven of hearts and the blue eight of hearts. The red seven is folded in half and the blue eight is folded lengthwise. The seven is placed inside the eight and turned back inside out. The eight is passed through the seven and magically changes into the seven!
Now the eight is the red card folded in half and the seven is the blue card folded lengthwise. The eight is now placed inside the seven and turned inside out. The seven is passed through the eight and flips inside out. Now you see the back and the front of the seven at the same time. The card is left in this position and ripped in half. The half is turned over to reveal that the seven and eight have merged!
You got to see it to believe it.

PRESTO CARD PRESS by NORM NIELSEN

If you have ever seen Norm Nielsen perform, you know that he is one of the best card manipulators ever. I had a discussion once at a convention with him and he gave me a few pointers. He told me that he used cards that were a flesh color back. Since that day I began to sell Norm Nielsen Palming Cards. He also told me that he always used a card press.
At that time he didn't have the device on the market however, he explain that it was a contraption to squeeze the cards thereby making them thinner and more pliable, His Card Press does just that. It is an inexpensive device that looks like two metal plates and two giant wing nuts and bolts. In essence it is a portable vice for cards.
If you want to be a card manipulator get some Fanning Powder, a Powder Putter, some Nielsen Palming Cards and a Presto Card Press. Now all you need to do is practice, practice. Practice!
