CARD MAGIC
A card is selected from a regular deck (say the Eight of Spades). A large prediction envelope is displayed and four giant cards (11" x 7") are removed in a stack. The face card is the Ace of Hearts. The spectator is asked if he selected the Ace of Hearts. When he answers "no," the cards are fanned as you say, "How about the Ace of Spades, the Ace of Diamonds or the Ace of Clubs?" showing all four Aces in a fan. The fan is closed as you say, "But the suite of one of these Aces does match your card, right?" When the fan is closed and reopened, one of the Aces has suddenly turned face down. It is seen to be the Ace of Spades.
The spectator agrees that his card was a Spade. "Now for the first time, name your card," you tell the spectator. When he yells out the Eight of Spades, you pretend that you heard the Ace of Spades. "The Ace of Spades I thought you said that you did not pick an Ace, Oh, the Eight of Spades." The fan is turned over to show that the Ace of Spades has changed into the selected Eight of Spades. All four cards can be shown on both sides at the end.

EMERGENCY CARD by DANNY ARCHER
A card is selected (the Two of Diamonds). The magician attempts to read the spectator's mind and fails. The magician says, "I'm in trouble. If your driving in your car and you get in trouble, you call AAA (auto club). If you're a magician and you get in trouble, you call MMM. They will magically fax you an emergency card, ah, it just arrived."
Reach in your pocket and remove a small paper depicting a card back in black and red. "This tells me that your card was the Two of Spades." Emergency Card is turned over to show the Two of Spades. The spectator says that was not their card. You say, "Then, your card must be the Five of Spades." Emergency Card is then unfolded to show the Five of Spades. Again, spectator says "No" You ask, "Was it a black card?" They inform you that they picked a red card. "I see, that means your card must be the Seven of Hearts."
The Emergency Card is unfolded to show the Seven of Hearts. "No," the spectator says." You say, "I'm positive you will see your card this time." The Emergency Card is unfolded to show all 52 cards printed on one card. "Do you see your card now?" you ask. "You do! I knew it all the time. Which one is 'yours'? The Two of Diamonds?" Emergency Card is unfolded to 8 1/2" x 11," to show the Two of diamonds.

A very strong and amazing mental effect. The performer displays a small envelope with four cards in it. He states that this contains the four queens from a deck of cards, but one queen is different from the other three.
A spectator is asked to call out any one of the four queens, i.e. hearts, clubs, diamonds or spades. Let us suppose he calls out the queen of hearts. The four cards are removed from the envelope and fanned. Amazingly the selected card is found to be face up among 3 other face-down cards. That is not all, for a climax the selected card is turned over and the back is seen to be a different color from the other 3 face down card, i.e. if the 3 face down cards have blue backs then the back of the selected card is seen to be red.
