THE CYPHER DECK

cypherdeck.jpg (16178 bytes)

You show a complete deck of cards. Each card has a white sticker attached to its face. A spectator thinks of any card in the deck (no restrictions). He now names the card. You remove the card and place it on the table face up. The spectator signs his initials on the sticker, then returns the card to the deck. You give the deck to the spectator, saying that you also put your initials on a card, but on the back.

The spectator turns the deck face down and spreads it through. Every card has a white sticker on its back. Only one bears your initials. The spectator removes this card. When the spectator turns the card over he is astounded to see that it is indeed his card bearing his initials. Everything can be examined! Use the same deck every time! Completely self-working! A beginner can do this immediately!

MULLICA WALLET (Tom Mullica's Miracle Card in Wallet)

mullicawallet.jpg (9160 bytes)

When Tom Mullica introduced his version of the card into the wallet to the magic fraternity, the response was overwhelming! Through an exclusive deal with Tom Mullica, the manufacturer now offers the Mullica Wallet to magicians everywhere.

This may well be the most perfect card to wallet principle ever! While it is easy to do, it is baffling and entertaining! At any time and with a borrowed deck, the performer has a card freely selected then initialed or marked for identification. The card is returned to the pack and shuffled. Then with an empty hand, the performer removes the wallet from his pocket. A face down card is seen in the wallet. A message on the face of the card instructs the performer to look in the other wallet. A smaller wallet is then removed from the "wallet proper". Inside this inner wallet is the chosen card!

No palming is necessary. No Forcing. No duplicate cards. And best of all, when the performer returns the wallet to his pocket, it is ready to do again! The deluxe wallet is made from fine quality leather. It is supplied complete with fully illustrated instructions.

HIMBER WALLET - BENDIX BOMBSHELL

The reader familiar with the "Himber Wallet" probably recognizes. the "Bendix Bombshell" as a cleverly constructed Himber Wallet. The reader might consider that the routine could easily be adapted to any "Himber Wallet" which might be at hand. Unfortunately, the routine cannot be done with any wallet of the conventional Himber type which the author has encountered. Reason for this is that the leather flaps in the center section of the "Himber Wallet" prevent reaching through and removing a card from beneath the short flaps of the opposite side of the wallet. The Bendix wallet is cunningly constructed to permit this.

Of course, even if it were possible, the great climax of producing the selected card from inside the zippered compartment of the wallet would be sacrificed. That is what makes the "Bendix Bombshell" so valuable.
