BACKSTAGE MONTE

This is a stage size card effect, which you teach your audience, then fool them all over again. It starts as a regular 3 Card Monte or Find The Queen effect, which many in your audience will be familiar with. The performer displays three jumbo size cards in a fan. He shows the fan on both sides. there are two black cards with blue backs and a red card in the middle, with a red back. These are number cards and not pictures.

The fan is turned over and a spectator invited to pick out the red card, which he does easily because of the different colored back. But when the card is turned over it is scene to have changed into an entirely different card, the Queen of Hearts. After this the performer explains how the clever trick is done (with a flap) to enable the audience to make it up and perform it for their friends.

The magi having taught his audience all this once again demonstrates the effect for them. He visibly places the Queen under the half card flap, and repeats the effect. The audience is in for a real surprise, because when they pick the card which they have just seen as the Queen, it is now completely blank. The cards measure approximately 4” x 7”.

BEHIND YOUR BACK

Twelve cards are introduced.  Six are handed to a spectator, face-down.  He is told to place his six cards behind his back.  He is then told to take any one of the six cards, and without looking at it, place it face-down on the table in front of you.  You take the remaining six cards and place them behind your back at the same time the spectator does, and place a card face-down on the table in front of him.  The spectator is now asked to take this face-down card, put it behind his back, and turn it face-up.  Both the spectator and the performer now bring their cards from their back and place their cards on the table face-down.

You reiterate to the spectator what has just taken place, and explain that there will be only one card face up in each pile.  At this time you spread your pile, showing one card face-up, and the spectator is asked to do the same.  The cards match!  The spectator might say, "Well that's easy.  All the cards are probably the same."  If he doesn't say that, you can ask that question by the inference, "I guess that's easy, all the cards could be the same."  You then tell the spectator, "That is not exactly right.  All the cards are the same except for the card that he and you had selected behind your back."  At this time, all the other cards are the same as each other but differ from the matching selected cards.

PSYCHIC ACES by SOMEERAN

Performer shows four jumbo size Aces (Ace of Spades, Ace of Hearts, Ace of Clubs and Ace of Diamonds) to the spectators. He mixes the cards and puts them inside four envelopes, so that the spectators cannot keep track of which one is which.

He also displays four miniature size Aces and mixes them. He puts them inside the four envelopes with the jumbo cards, according to the free choice of the spectators. When he removes the jumbo and small size Aces from the envelopes every pair of Aces matches perfectly, Spades with Spades, Hearts with Hearts, and so on!

When you remove all the four cards in this way you have performed a miracle!  This is very easy to do, as a matter of fact, it has only a five minute learning time.

COP STOP

A spectator freely selects a card from a deck and shows it to everyone but the performer. The card is then returned to the deck and shuffled; losing the selected card. The cards are now placed onto the table face down and spread so that they completely cover the table top. The performer presents a mini police car and requests that the spectator pass it over all the cards. Although no one really knows where the selected card is something magically happens as the car is passed over the table top. WOW the lights go off over one of the cards.

The card when turned over and proves to be the spectator's selection. Magi says, "I may not be able to find your card but I am sure this Little cop car can!" All can be examined before and after the performance of COP STOP!

TWENTY - ONE (2WENTY1)

Explain that you went to the casino to play blackjack the other night. Show TWO cards they are the two black nines. Square up the cards and then re-spread them, the same TWO cards are now the two red tens. The next sequence you really need to see to believe. Without any cover the 10 of diamonds visually turns into a black ace, this ace (no switch) is handed out to the spectator.

The killer is you now turn the one remaining card face up it is a BLACK JACK this is casually tossed to the table. Six changes from two cards. Precision made gimmick that does all the work. Trust me this is very cool, a complete sell out at the London dealers day and the Paisley magic day. Easy to perform and easy to carry. The backs and fronts are shown on every change. No sleights of any kind.
