CARD MAGIC
With this funny effect magician counts six cards for the audience. This is done very slowly so that everyone can follow. Two or three cards are removed from the packet and thrown on the table and the remaining cards are counted. To everyone's surprise there are still six cards. This is done over and over again until eighteen cards are produced. This effect can be done as a comedy routine or manipulation. It is a must for every magician.

You may be familiar with card boxes of the past, but this will mystify anyone who thinks they are "in the know." For instance: A card is placed in the box and the lid closed. Box is opened revealing that the card is now in many pieces! A piece is given to a spectator. Box is closed and opened again to reveal that the card is restored except for the missing piece, which is still held by the spectator. Of course the piece fits the card exactly.

This is a most marvelous deck of cards that will enable you to duplicate the feats of skill and sleight of hand that usually takes years of practice. You will be able to do the waterfall, the cascade or the turnover on the arm. You can spring the cards from hand to hand without any effort.
This deck can also be used as a comedy effect by first doing all the fancy card flourishes and then accidentally (on purpose) dropping the cards and showing them all to be attached. The cards are expertly double strung for the best results and durability.

#1 - The magician places a borrowed ring (from the audience) on top of an card case which has previously been shown to be empty and then closed. He covers the ring with a card, flicks it with his finger and the ring magically goes into the case, from which the magician then removes it.
#2 - The magician makes an imaginary toss of a borrowed ring into the card case which has previously been shown to be empty and then closed. After the toss, the ring can be heard to rattle inside the case, and even appears from within the case when it is opened!
(The trick can just as easily be performed with a marked coin!)

Free will has left the building! In this effect Costas Damianou and Simon Lovell the magician presents a blue deck of cards. The backs and fronts of the cards reveal it is a 52 card regular deck. The deck is placed face up on the table. This is the last time the magician will touch the deck. The spectator is asked to cut the deck around the mid point, and place the cut-off pile alongside the other pile. They then select one of the two piles, and the other pile is placed to one side.
The magician asks the spectator to deal the cards face-up from the face-up pile, and stop at ANY card they wish, which they do. This is a genuinely free choice. The selection is placed away from the rest of the deck, and the magician now takes the remaining cards and specifies that truly, the spectator had a free choice, and the card they chose isn’t a duplicate of any of the other blue backed cards. However, upon turning over the selection the spectator is GOBSMACKED to see that not only is the card a red backed one, it also has their name written across it’s back (or any message you want). They suddenly feel that perhaps their free will isn’t as free as they’d thought…
