CARD MAGIC
An invisible deck of cards is shown. The spectators will exclaim that there is no deck of cards to be seen and that you are crazy. You tell them to play along with you and pick a card from the invisible deck. After the spectator has chosen his "invisible" card, a real or visible deck is produced.
You tell the spectators that this deck has one card turned upside down and that by coincidence, it is the same card as the one selected from the invisible deck. Of course you are 100% correct. This effect can be repeated over and over again.

A beautiful stem wine goblet is displayed to the audience. A deck of cards is introduced. A spectator is asked to select a card and return it to the deck. The entire deck of cards is placed in the wine goblet and covered with a silk handkerchief. The spectator is asked to hold on to the entire deck through the silk.
The magician reaches under the silk and removes the glass leaving the spectator with the deck. But wait one card remains in the glass... Of course it is the spectator's selected card.

The pocket index is an accessory that allows you to index a complete deck of 52 cards in your pocket, so that you can instantly access any card named. The utility of this accessory in mentalism or card magic would be obvious to any performer.
There are many designs for pocket indexes. This model is based on the Q5 design credited to Patrick Page and detailed by Corinda in his 13 Steps to Mentalism. This type index was first produced twenty years" ago for the Supreme. Magic. Company of England. It was made from board and tape edges exactly as described by Corinda. These indexes had limited life due to their board construction. Also the indexes tended to bulge out when 26 cards were loaded, and a little careless handling could cause the cards to slip out.
The "plus" feature of this set overcomes the shortcomings of the Supreme model. The index is now made from a strong, plastic material, no thicker than heavy paper but ten times more durable. An expanding flexible spine takes care of the bulge.
In case you are not familiar with the use of the index, it is a device to hold 26 cards in each index. These would normally be from Ace to King of two suits, one red and one black. The pair of indexes would hold the complete deck of 52 cards. When you learn this it will absolutely "blow em away."

This is an automatic version of the Three Card Monte effect, originally performed with years of practice, using slight of hand, as a betting game. This version uses jumbo cards, which are seven inches by four and one half inches. They are beautifully made using the King of spades and the Queen of hearts. In the effect, the performer shows three cards, two Kings and one red Queen. The cards are turned with their backs towards the audience and mixed. A spectator is invited to find the Queen. No matter which card the spectator selects, they always get a black King. The Queen seems very elusive.
This effect can be performed either on stage or in a cabaret setting. It is well made using specially laminated cards. The gimmicks work very smoothly. The price is less than half of the original effect. We know you will be very happy with this set of "Auto Three Card Monte."
