COLOR CHANGING DECK by IRV COOK
An eye test is given to a spectator to see if he is color-blind. You go through a deck of cards showing him the fronts and backs. Of course the spectator tells you that the red cards are red, the black cards are black and that all the backs are red. The spectator freely selects a face up card.
He is shown that he has picked the only red card from a blue pack. The question is asked, "How can you play cards with one red card in a blue deck?" A rub on the table and that card also changes to RED! Remember, you started with an entire BLUE deck and end up with an entire RED deck! You can now do any other card trick that can be done with a regular pack of cards.

A small box, about the size of a deck of cards, is shown. It has a small hole running right through the center. A nut and bolt secures the lid onto the box by running through the hole. The performer unscrews the nut from the bolt, and the bolt is removed from the box. Then a cigarette, pencil or wand is thrust through the hole. Nothing special about that but then the performer shakes the box and something is heard inside. The box is opened to reveal a full deck of cards. The cards are now tipped out of the box and are handled freely, fanning and shuffling, to show that they are completely normal.
You receive everything you need to perform this miracle penetration: a small clear magic wand; a box with lid, with a hole through it; a nut and bolt; and a very, very special deck of cards. Very easy to do brilliantly hand made in England by a master craftsman.

Pay careful attention! This effect has fooled the 3-card Monte players on the streets of New York. Upon opening the packet, you'll find just three cards, two with red backs and one with a blue back, with full faces. There are no flaps or trick printing. The three cards are shown in a fan. Two are spot cards and one is a picture card. A spectator is asked to watch the middle (picture) card. The back of the card fan is shown and it is noted that the middle (picture) card has a different color back. The three cards are placed face clown on the table from left to right. The spectator turns over the two end cards and they are seen to be the spot cards. When he turns over the middle card, it's blank. Remember, each card is shown completely and individually, both front and back, only three cards are used, and, at the end, you can even let the spectator handle the cards.
No flaps, no strippers, no rough and smooth, no card switching, no Mexican monte turnover moves or any of the well-known standard techniques. Nothing to get rid of at the conclusion of the effect. Instead of the blank card, you can also change the ending so the middle card changes to a different card. The effect also comes with an extra kicker you can add to the ending.
