This is something that I have wanted to build for a very long time but kept putting it on the back burner. Working conventions, trade shows and doing restaurant table hopping for many years, I have never been able to carry neatly everything I used during a performance. Being a person that used many trick decks and gaffed coins, I always had trouble keeping track of things. Which pocket held my Scotch and Soda Coin and which had the $1.35 Trick? Where is my set up 4 Ace Deck and where is my Invisible Deck? I took home many a close-up case but was never satisfied with them although they were a great improvement from keeping my effects in a pocket or two or three or four…
Finally I sat down with my carpenter who does my finest furniture style magic. He makes my Die Boxes, and Melting Mirrors and many other solid oak items. We designed this Close-Up Table together and we are both very proud of it.
The case is made from solid oak as stated above. It measures 19 ¾" x 15 ½" x 6" high. It has room for 26 decks of cards, trays with slots for seven-quarter size coins, eleven fifty-cent size coins and seven silver-dollar size coins. It has four removable trays. The drawer locks and slides are made out of premium hardware. Recessed into the top is a Gibson close-up pad.

Taken from life or, maybe we should say a "real lifelike" rabbit. At any rate this is the most realistic rabbit made, especially for the magician. Of course it has neither scent nor annoying habits, but otherwise is true to life from the tips of its ears to its tail, natural body and legs. With a little secret manipulation of the performer's fingers, this bunny wiggles, kicks and squirms in such a natural manner that it cannot be told from a living animal a few feet away.
This rabbit packs up very small and stays put, but is a plump and active bunny when produced from a hat, handkerchief, tambourine, etc. After producing one of these rabbits it is quite easy to cause the one to multiply into two. Many well known performers have adopted this "real" rabbit and will henceforth use no other.

This is the hand model type used for a complete color change of a silk. In the effect the magician pushes a silk into the top of his closed fist and it emerges from the other side a different color. Both hands may be shown empty before and after the effect if desired.
