MAGICIAN'S TABLECLOTH WITH SERVANTE
This cloth has a SERVANTE (pocket) stitched into one corner and when the cloth is placed on any table crossways, i.e.., corners in the centers of the table, the servante will be ready to use. Any object slid off the back of the table will vanish. Dye tubes and other secret items can be dumped into the servante after use, leaving you clean. This is known as "lapping."

This is a fantastic utility item used to vanish any small metal or magnetic item such as shim or magnetic coins or chop cup balls. After a fantastic chop cup routine place the ball into a spectator's hand and cover with this beautiful silver cloth. When you pull the cloth away the ball will be GONE!
I like to also use this cloth to "STEAL" a shim shell penny which has been covering a dime right off a spectator's open palm.

What makes this prop different from the rest is the fine material it is constructed from and the fact that it has a pocket made from "special" material to allow you to show it very thin.
Invite a lady from your audience to assist. Show the handkerchief both back and front leaving your spectators with no doubt that it is a perfectly ordinary article. The magician then brings the four corners together to form a neat little bag. The article to be vanished, lets say a borrowed finger ring or bracelet, is shown around and placed into the bag. The lady holding the bag is requested to feel the ring through the folds of the hanky. After suitable by-play the magician whips the handkerchief from the ladies grasp and the article HAS VANISHED! The vanished item is later found in some other object, safe and sound.
Should you wish to perform this routine with a borrowed article from your audience, you will find that the vanished article can easily tip from the special pocket as the handkerchief is placed down on the table, you can then load it into a nest of boxes or other prop.
